Your seat in the van, your driver and guide for the full six hours, an air-conditioned ten-passenger vehicle and cold water on board. It also covers all the arranging — reservations, arrival times and getting you back on schedule.

No. Your reservation covers your seat, driver, and transportation for the day. Food, drinks, and wine tastings are not included and can be purchased directly at each stop based on your preferences.

Your seat plus roughly $35 at The Salt Lick and about $17 to $25 for each of the three tastings, before tax and tips.

Those figures are set by the venues, not by us, and they do change. We lay out who you pay at each stop in the itinerary so nobody gets caught out at the first winery.

Your seat is paid by card when you book. At the stops you'll be paying the venues directly — all of them take cards, but a little cash is handy at the barbecue and for tipping.

It isn't included and it's never expected, but it's always appreciated. If you had a good day, whatever feels right is right.

We're back at the same spot between 4:30 and 5:00. Your driver calls it out about ten minutes before we arrive so you can have a ride waiting. Your whole evening in Austin is still ahead of you — that's rather the point of the schedule.

Forty-five minutes at each winery and 45 to 60 minutes at The Salt Lick. That's real time on the ground — enough to eat, work through a flight and sit outside for a bit.

The van has to leave on time or the whole day slips, so we can only hold departure for about ten minutes. If you miss it we can't refund the seat — please build in a buffer, especially on a weekend when South Congress traffic is unpredictable.

Not on the shared tour — everyone meets at the South Congress pickup point, which keeps the schedule tight and the price down. If you'd like door-to-door pickup, ask about a private booking.

Yes — 21 and over, with no exceptions, and everyone needs valid photo ID. The wineries card at the door and so do we.

Comfortable shoes you don't mind getting dusty, sunglasses and a hat in summer, and a light layer for the tasting rooms, which run cold. Bring a card, an ID and a phone for photos. The van is air-conditioned throughout.

Yes — the tour runs rain or shine, since almost all of it is indoors or under cover and the van is dry and cool either way. If severe weather makes the route genuinely unsafe we'll contact you to reschedule or refund.

No alcohol on board. There's plenty of it at four stops, and keeping the van dry is what lets us run a relaxed day for everyone. Your guide can also decline service to anyone who's had too much — it's rare, and it's there to protect the rest of the group.

The van isn't wheelchair-lift equipped, and some winery grounds are gravel or grass. If you have mobility needs, get in touch before booking — tell us what you need and we'll tell you honestly whether the day will work for you.

Cancel at least 24 hours before departure and you get a full refund, no questions asked. Inside 24 hours we can't refund the seat, because it's held for you and there are only ten.

Absolutely. Most of our bookings are couples and pairs of friends. You'll be sharing the van with up to eight other guests — which, most days, is half the fun.

Yes. Private buyouts for up to 14 guests are popular for birthdays, bachelorette parties and company days out, and the route can be adjusted. See private tours and groups.

Stops are subject to availability. If one can't take us we substitute another Hill Country winery of the same standing and tell you before you board — never a surprise on the day.
